Nara Kitchen& Co. @ Damansara Uptown, Pj.

Looking for a brunch spot on this weekend to have a meal with your friends/ family? You may head up to this restaurant and give it a try which will bring you a promising satisfaction.

The front view of Nara Kitchen&Co.
It is easily located at the main roadside which is facing the house/shop residential. Meanwhile, it is same row as Frisson, The Good Batch, Lafayette, and Softsrve.

As you can see from the photo, the restaurant theme's decoration is based on simple, comfortable and bright (good lighting) concept. Their wall is mainly brushed in white color with the wooden furniture have bring a comfort eyesight when you enter the restaurant.

The one page menu but it took me some time to discover it as I can see the crew have diligently design the menu creatively. As you can see from the menu, their food is based on clean eats, healthy and organic. Not too many option for the food but I had been stuck in their choice.
The tidy and clean concept of layout have bring the perfect perception for the restaurant. The simplicity concept of this restaurant is totally caught my eyes and make me wanna stay longer for some paperwork. (LOL)

Looking for some quiet moment after class/ work or in need of relaxation in this chaos city? Come here for cuppa and some hearty meal! From the range of breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner, you will never failed to make a decision here!

Self order.

Their cake/ bread counter.
With the limited choice for the day, hopefully they will add more interesting and yummier cakes.

Brilliant Breakfast Pudding. [RM 17.00] *recommended
Not in mood to have heavy flavors meal or lazy to munch? Go for their breakfast bowl that contain fresh vanilla milk, poached apricots, toasted almonds, fresh mango and red orange zest. Honestly, the texture is more like cold porridge but I think they should have increase the fruit portion. Overall, it is excellent.

The flowers decoration have bring a plus point for the bowl.

*slurp slurp slurp*

Chicken&Waffle. [RM32]
This is the best choice when you craving crispy chicken and waffle at the same time! Not to mention the crispy crust waffle, the crispy chicken have bring to its perfectness of frying come along with their citrus slaw and orange wedges. The feeling of hot/crispy food and cool down by the refreshing fruit salad! (requested not a burnt fried chicken)

Drizzle with maple syrup. To be frank, the crispy chicken coated with the maple syrup surprisingly tasted so good!

Chocolate cake with strawberry icing. [RM 15.00]
The only disappointing moment we had is their moist chocolate cream cake. Not to say their tasteless cream but the cake is come in very sweet. The most failure cake I ever had. Hopefully they take this into account and introduce nicer choices of cakes in the future.

Two person for this meal is just right to our tummy.
From the cake counter :)

Their others breakfast choices have convinced me to make another visit. Stay tuned!

Chicken House @ Solaris Mont Kiara

If you were a fans of Korean Drama, you should have know what is Chic-Mac.
Chic-Mac is a combination of Friend Chicken and Beer, which is very popular in Korean.
Korean Friend Chicken also getting more and more popular in Malaysia, because of the K-drama trend. If you ever watched the poisonous K-drama, "You Who Came From The Star", you should know Chic-Mac is Cheon Song-Yi's favourite food!

Fried Chicken is quite acceptable food in Malaysia. Most of the Malaysian could not reject the taste of Fried Chicken, so Korean Fried Chicken can attract more businesses in Malaysia.
Never think of eating Korean Fried Chicken with Korean beer (Soju)? Then you must try it out! It matches each other absolutely well!

Lately, there are quite a number of Korean Fried Chicken restaurant around Solaris Mont Kiara. But to get a better taste of Korean Fried Chicken, you should try Chicken House at Solaris Mont Kiara.

Chicken House is quite a small shop which have only limited spaces and also seats. So, sometimes when you came at the wrong timing, you will end up waiting for seats outside the restaurant. But, nice food is always worth to wait! This is why it is always Full House!

Once you are settled down, order your food without hesitation! If not, you will have to wait for a longer time for the food to be served. Their Korean Fried Chicken provides many kind of flavor options, but the Soy Sauce with Garlic and Spicy Chili Sauce are the most recommended! These were also Cheon Song-Yi's favourite! Don't forget to order Soju too!

Soy Sauce with Garlic RM32 (Half Chicken)
It tastes quite sweet with the sauce, and strong garlic taste which also make your mouth full with garlic smell. It is super nice! Seriously! Half Chicken can serve 3 to 4 pax. If you have more pax, you can always order Full Chicken, which costs RM50. It served with pickled raddish.

Spicy Chili Sauce RM32 (Half Chicken)
It tastes quite spicy, if you love to eat spicy food, this is the one! The Spicy Chili Sauce was spreaded evenly on every of the fried chicken! It really tastes very good!

Grape Soju RM35
They provide many choices of fruit soju, but we chose Grape Soju, cause we are fans of grape. So, grape just suits us much! Surprisingly, the Soju doesn't taste weird, it is full with the sweetness of grape juice and tastes a bit of Soju. You wont taste much of the Soju. I love it so much! But, we felt that it was a bit little, only half of the jug. It still can serve 2 to 3 pax, don't worry.

Other than Fried Chicken and Soju, there are also other choices of food. Like Korean pancake, Seafood Galbi, Chicken Galbi, Seafood Military Ramyeon and others. It also provide delivery service for those who are lazy to get out from house.
