The BONS Cafe @ Damansara Jaya (Opposite Atria Mall)

The BONS Cafe @ Damansara Jaya (Opposite Atria Mall)

Believe that for most of the neighbourhoods in Damansara Jaya the Bons is not a strange name/restaurant. From the previous lady owner of Bons Bons to current owners of the Bons, they have win a regular reputation and customers. Though the Bons currently is run by a young team ( 3 partners), most of the menu and taste is still remain. The shop is renovated and it's about three months of operating since the opening day. From the range of breakfast, lunch and desserts, I can say that the Bons is one of the ideal dining place for weekdays and weekends. Guess what? The price is surprisingly reasonable ( definitely the perfect breakfast place to have a sip of coffee and toast ; the affordable lunch place to have some hot food and they have worth value of set lunch! ) .

As it's opposite of Atria Mall, it's not hard to figure out when you park your car inside Atria Mall.

The retro door that remind me the design I have seen in Europe.

Other than that, though the design and decoration is based on simple and retro style, it's always a good place when you are in need of relaxation in this chaos city.

Have you accomplished all? (Just asking:p)

Set lunch that worth your every penny. :)

Promotion for student and tea time!

Rosemary Chicken.

Rosemary chicken was a crowd pleaser. Tender and full of flavour. We particularly liked the mash potatoes with the sauce. *recommended
Cham! (combination of tea and coffee)
The aromatic and flavourful of the combination is the reason it become their customers' signature drink.
Roasted Hazelnut Latte (RM8.90)

Hot Chocolate (RM 7.50)
Hot Mocha (RM 8.50)
Clipper Teas that come with few flavour.
Tomyam Spaghetti.
Cross cultural mix of Thai flavours and Italian Spaghetti.

Big Breakfast (RM24)
All the fried things like hash brown, sausages, ham etc are surprisingly not oily and the eggs is perfectly cooked.
Definitely a considerable nutrition dish to start you day!

The spicy tuna waffle was also a surprising combination.
Tuna Fever (RM 9.90)
Roll Up Three (RM 10.90)

3 roll up eggy bread filled with Peanut butter,Chocolate and Strawberry jam & maple syrup.

Cempedak Cheese Cake.
Cempedak cheese cake was very creamy, fragrant, smooth cake and had bits of cempedak flesh in it still. A real winner with cempedak lovers who enjoys thick creamy cakes.

Durian Cake *recommended
Durian cake is come with creamy, fragrant and with the bits of durian flesh which is a must order dish for durian lover.

Come for their fresh homemade cake and coffee/tea when you are seeking some personal space in the mid of stress and overdue work!

Freshly baked from oven!

Mee Rebus.
Ps. This is just tasting version customized by the chef.
Believe me, not the normal mee rebus you can have in most of place. Its distinctive flavour arises from the thickness and strong taste of the gravy comes with the yellow egg noodles and garnished with lime. Also, the garnish of "fried things" gives this noodle dish the extra crunch in every mouthful, completing the taste in flavourful goodness.Through understanding of the owner, he clarify that this version is based on Malacca and have win lots of regular customers' heart.

Fyi, all the cakes is daily homemade by one of the owner which also have the full passion for baking.
Kindly made a reservation if you wanna order whole cake. The signature cakes is Cempedak Cheese Cake and Durian Cake
This cafe is pork free which also operated by most of the Malay crew.
Overall, we pleased with the food and drinks and find the experience is worth with every penny you gonna pay:)
Services was good and friendly.
